You can register in person at any branch with the required identification.
If you live in a hostel or shelter, you are eligible for a library card valid for 3 months that will allow you to borrow up to 5 items at a time as well as have access to library computers. If you are not eligible for a free library card, you can get a non-resident card valid for 3 months or 12 months.
This class is tailored to the individual with little to no swim experience and may be apprehensive about completely submerging.
Instructors work closely with swimmers to increase water confidence by guiding them through the process of basic movement in the water.
When the 3 or 12 months is over and you would like to renew your card, you must do in person at any branch.
If you are visiting Toronto, you can register for an In-Library Access card that allows you to use the library's computers for the length of your visit.
